These posts cover a short break to Iceland in 2015, the result of spotting a decent deal on the Secret Escapes website. We ended up flying to Iceland on Wow Air and staying in a Viking-themed hotel in Hafnarfjörður, just south of Reykjavík. The deal included tickets for the very popular Golden Circle tour so we ended up seeing the waterfall Gullfoss, the geyser Strokkur, the Þingvellir national park, and even saw the aurora borealis.
