Our first cruise post-pandemic (if you subscribe to the misguided belief that it’s all over) was aboard Regal Princess, a sister ship to Royal that we’d previously cruised on in the Mediterranean and found to be not exactly to our liking. We didn’t like the balcony sizes and we didn’t like the lack of a Skywalkers nightclub and we had some shocking service aboard that cruise.

This Regal Princess cruise gave us a chance to give the Royal-class ships a second chance, and being one of the earliest return-to-cruising sailings it was a short experience with no port stops.
