This short cruise aboard P&O’s Azura was the first cruise we took that wasn’t with Princess Cruises. A weekend break saw us visiting Belgium for the first time ever despite its proximity to the UK and we decided to visit Ghent as we had a second trip already booked that would be visiting Belgium again later in the year on which we’d be able to explore the more popular destination of Bruges. Ghent turned out to be absolutely lovely and Azura was a familiar ship in its layout, being from the same class of ships used by Princess, and while not being quite to the standard of Princess, P&O demonstrated that they were a perfectly fine line to cruise with.
