If you have a travel-related website that isn’t just copy-and-paste press releases or if you write fairly frequently and think “Hey, I reckon Mark would like to read what I’ve put out there every now and then!” then please do get in contact. I promise nothing, though, because my tastes are fickle
WESTWAY
I’ve know Iain for many years now on social media platforms, starting with the never-to-be-surpassed FriendFeed, on Facebook when that shut down, and on Twitter before the man-baby shat all over it.
- Enjoyable, but rather tiring.Saturday, was out – -out! – in London, for Andrew's birthday, at a pub in Clerkenwell Green. Going to London feels almost novel, now – after so many years when frankly, I'd have been horrified to have […]

Eclectic, well-written, always interesting content from Ernie Smith.
- A few years before the Universal Serial Bus took over the world of peripherals, another upstart standard aimed to do the same thing. And I’m not talking about FireWire.
- The periodic Rust-induced conflicts happening with the Linux kernel hint at underlying generational problems facing the project. And it’s already led a prominent maintainer to quit.
The Captain’s Table
A mix of historical cruise ship and liner content and more up-to-date blogging from former Queen Mary tour guide, Zach Whitlow.

- Belinda Bennett made history in January 2016 when Windstar Cruises promoted her to captain of MSY Wind Star. It was well earned. She’d begun […]
Cruise Monkeys
Wales-based Gav and Luke like cruising – as do we – and they like drinking – as do we – and we’ve still not met. Absolute travesty.
