We hadn’t been long back on board the Star Princess, out of the bitterly cold, South American wind before I felt the urge to step back out onto the balcony and take in more of the spectacular views of Ushuaia and the Martial Mountains surrounding it. This time I swapped out my 24-105 L series lens for the lower grade glass but greater range of the 70-300 zoom. I grabbed a few photos of the town of Ushuaia.

My main focus, though, was on the Martial Mountains, some of which looked absolutely gorgeous.

This was supposed to be the end of our trip to Ushuaia and, indeed, the end of our stops in Argentina on the South America cruise aboard Star Princess, but that wind that had chilled me to the core on the Beagle Channel cruise excursion still had something to say on the matter; the wind was strong enough to keep the cruise ship pinned against the dock for an additional four hours and we spent the next few days of the cruise trying to make up time.
