In June of 2012 we went to Spain for a week with my dad, my brother and his wife, and my brother’s wife’s children. We were staying at Salou and on one of the days my wife and I walked along the shoreline from the hotel we were staying at to the nearby town of Cambrils and back.

There wasn’t a lot to see in Cambrils although we didn’t look too hard; we were mostly keen to seek out something cool to drink by the time we got there.

The beach views along that stretch of coastline were all lovely; open, sandy beaches and gorgeous-looking sea to the horizon.

There were a few examples of some interesting-looking artwork along the beach area too.
