The former incarnation of this site had a
Picture Of The Day feature that was used to promote worthy photography on an almost daily basis. This feature has now been superceded by the plugs system in each of the site sections but an archive of prior receivers of this very nearly almost prestigious award are shown here.

Wide angle shot of a Swedish cathedral.
I like the angle of the photo and the tones in the processing. It ages the picture nicely and the blown highlights add to this old feeling.
