The former incarnation of this site had a
Picture Of The Day feature that was used to promote worthy photography on an almost daily basis. This feature has now been superceded by the plugs system in each of the site sections but an archive of prior receivers of this very nearly almost prestigious award are shown here.

Pink clouds in a sky at sunset.
A nice compositional shot that could perhaps have been taken a bit lower to add more of the boat's silhouette into the photo. However, the colours captured in the sky and reflected in the water are superb and very calming.
