I'm Not Dead
This is one of those "I am back from holiday and I didn't die" posts that you hear about in the movies.
I am back from holiday and I didn't die.
I have got a boatload of photos to sift through, though (*). And we are in the midst of the Euro 2012 tournament. And I will be away this coming weekend too. So, what I'm saying here is that updates may still be sporadic.
I am back from holiday and I didn't die, however. So there is that.
Anyway, here's one of the photos from my first day in Salou; a photo I'm calling Lady In Pink Shorts Outside A Mini Market for reasons that I'll warrant none can discern.
(*) I didn't take as many photos as I'd wanted because a few days in I realised that I'd taken two cameras, two batteries for each, two chargers, but no actual charger cable. You might imagine that this realisation would have made me quite angry. And you would be quite right to imagine that. This did make me become a little more selective with shot-taking subsequently and that's not a terrible thing, though.

+Julia Su I did like Spain – we stayed completely within the Catalunya region for the week there – but we're not hot weather people and the temperature and humidity was a little too high for our liking. A long weekend in Barcelona in the Winter has to happen at some time, though, as we loved Barcelona.

Glad you enjoyed your holiday and that any reports of your departure from earth are premature. I would certainly have uttered a few words if I had left my charger or lead behind. Unfortunately my camera has a large appetite and eats batteries for breakfast
